First Ride: BMW F850GS 4K

This is probably the wettest video I have ever done. I had to take my BMW R1250GS in for a service, and some recall pieces of work, and it would be in for a few hours so it was a good opportunity to go for a test ride. I'd booked to go out on the F850GS, and on the day it was pouring with rain. On the way to the dealer, throughout the test ride and all the way home. I should have postponed it to spring!

Against all reason, I decided to do it anyway, so if you'd like to know what it's like to ride an F850GS in the pouring rain on dual carriageways, in city traffic and in the Peak District, you've come to the right place. If not, I recommend almost anything else!

I really liked the bike, despite the weather, and though perhaps not at the top of my list for a middleweight adventure bike, it's definitely up there.
