Our fifth day in Hokkaido (北海道) was filled with breathtaking coastal views, charming wildlife encounters, and delicious local cuisine, creating a perfect blend of nature and culture.

🌊 Cape Kamui (神威岬): We kicked off the day with a drive to the stunning Cape Kamui, where legends of ancient samurai and spectacular coastal scenery come together. The journey through scenic tunnels opened up to dramatic vistas of the sea. Upon arrival at the iconic Cape Kamui Lighthouse, the rugged coastline and the endless ocean views left us in awe. The panoramic beauty of this location is truly unmatched and set the tone for an unforgettable day.

🚡 Tenguyama (天狗山): Next, we took a scenic ride up Tenguyama via the ropeway, offering us a bird’s-eye view of Otaru (小樽市) and its beautiful surroundings. The stop at Tenguyama Shrine (小樽天狗山神社) provided a serene moment amidst nature, while the main attraction, Chipmunk Park, offered a joyful experience. Interacting with these adorable creatures was a highlight, as they playfully scampered about, creating fun and heartwarming memories.

🍻 Otaru Beer Otaru Warehouse No.1 (小樽ビール醸造所 小樽倉庫No.1): Our evening took us back to Otaru Beer’s Warehouse No.1 for a delightful fusion of local brews and Western dishes.
