A while later, she posted ‘5 wkt haul for #Shami you are indeed a genius’. Payal even praised Shami as he took his sixth and seventh wickets. Her last tweet for him read, ‘Unbelievable #shami 7 wkts in a match … oh my God’ followed by star-eyed emoji. Several netizens have reacted to the actress’s series of tweets for Shami with hilarious tweets. A user wrote, ‘Ab toh shaadi kar lo.. English Winglish me kuch nhi rakha hai’, whereas another one wrote ‘Ab aapko Shami k saath shaadi karni hai ya nhi?’ One of the netizens commented, ‘get ready for marriage’. To give some background, Payal Ghosh made headlines when she extended a marriage proposal to Mohammed Shami after his stellar performance in the World Cup so far. in a tweet, she wrote ‘#Shami Tum apna English sudharlo, I’m ready to marry you’ followed by two laughing emojis.’ A few days later, she also posted a cryptic message that read, ‘Dil dooba Tere Pyar Me’ which many netizens thought was for Shami. Notably, Mohammed Shami has become the highest-wicket taker in this World Cup with 23 wickets in just 6 matches.
