যেকোন প্রতিযোগিতামূলক পরীক্ষা তে এই প্রশ্নটি আসার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।এটা নিয়ে অনেকে কনফিউজড থাকেন।কারণ বিভিন্ন বইয়ে বিভিন্ন সংখ্যা লেখা।এই লেখাটি পড়ার পর আশা করি, সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা ও তাদের সংখ্যা নিয়ে আর কোন আশংকা থাকবে না।তাই ম্যাপ নিয়ে বসে পড়ুন আর মিলিয়ে নিন।
বাংলাদেশের মোট সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা ৩২ টি।
মিয়ানমার এর সাথে বাংলাদেশের ৩ টি সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা রয়েছে, যেগুলো হল - রাঙ্গামাটি,বান্দরবান এবং কক্সবাজার।
রাঙ্গামাটি; ভারত ও মায়ানমার দুটি দেশের সাথে সংযুক্ত।
এছাড়া বিভিন্ন বিভাগে সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলার সংখ্যা নিম্নরূপ -
১। রংপুর বিভাগ - ৬ টি
২। রাজশাহী বিভাগ - ৪ টি
৩। খুলনা বিভাগ - ৬ টি
৪। ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ - ৪ টি।
৫। সিলেট বিভাগ - ৪ টি।
৬। চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগ- ৬ টি।
ঢাকা জেলার সাথে ভারত বা মায়ানমার কোন দেশেরই সীমান্তবর্তী জেলার সংযোগ নেই।
তাহলে ভারতের সাথে বাংলাদেশের জেলার সংখ্যা ৩০ টি এবং মায়ানমার এর সাথে ৩ টি । আর দুটি দেশের সাথে সংযুক্ত আছে এমন একটি জেলা হল রাঙ্গামাটি।
সুতরাং, মোট সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা - ৩২ টি।
বাংলাদেশের ৮ টি বিভাগে মোট জেলার সংখ্যা হল ৬৪। এর মধ্যে সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা রয়েছে ৩২ টি। এই সীমান্তবর্তী জেলাগুলো ভারত ও মিয়ানমার এর সাথে। ভারতের সঙ্গে সীমান্ত রয়েছে ৩০ টি জেলার আর মিয়ানমারের সাথে রয়েছে ৩টি জেলার। এদের মধ্যে ১টি জেলার (রাঙ্গামাটি) আবার দুই দেশের সাথেই সীমান্ত রয়েছে।
ঢাকা ও বরিশাল বিভাগ ব্যতীত সকল বিভাগের সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা রয়েছে।
মিয়ানমারের সাথে বাংলাদেশের ৩টি সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা হল কক্সবাজার, রাঙ্গামাটি ও বান্দরবান।
অপরদিকে ভারতের সাথে যে ৩০ টি সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা রয়েছে তার মধ্যে-
চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগের সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলাগুলো হলো- চট্ট্রগ্রাম, ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া, কুমিল্লা, ফেনী, খাগড়াছড়ি ও রাঙ্গামাটি।
খুলনা বিভাগের সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলাগুলো হলো- সাতক্ষীরা, যশোর, চুয়াডাঙ্গা, মেহেরপুর, ঝিনাইদহ ও কুষ্টিয়া।
রাজশাহী বিভাগের সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলাগুলো হলো- রাজশাহী, চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ, নওগাঁ ও জয়পুরহাট।
রংপুর বিভাগের সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলাগুলো হলো- পঞ্চগড়, ঠাকুরগাঁও, দিনাজপুর, নীলফামারী, লালমনিরহাট ও কুড়িগ্রাম।
ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলাগুলো হলো- জামালপুর, শেরপুর, ময়মনসিংহ ও নেত্রকোনা।
সিলেট বিভাগের সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন জেলাগুলো হলো- সুনামগঞ্জ, সিলেট, মৌলভীবাজার ও হবিগঞ্জ।
The two countries have international borders with Bangladesh. The two countries are our neighbors India and Myanmar . Bangladesh shares borders with India in a total of 30 districts. Bangladesh shares borders with five Indian states. It has the longest border with West Bengal, one of the most important states in India. The north-western border with the entire western border is with the state of West Bengal . It is bordered by Assam and Meghalaya to the north and Tripura and Mizoram to the east.
And 3 districts have border connections with Myanmar . The districts are Rangamati, Bandarban and Cox's Bazar . It shares a border with the state of Arakar in Myanmar. Recently, Rohingyas have entered Bangladesh from Myanmar and taken refuge in these districts. However, most of the refugees have taken refuge in Cox's Bazar district and some Rohingyas have been sent to Bhasanchar Island in Noakhali district.
But many people think that if there are 30 border districts with India and 3 border districts with Myanmar, then the total border districts should be 33. Then why 32?
The answer is very simple.
Bangladesh has a district bordering both India and Myanmar . And the district is Rangamati . Rangamati is a district in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. It is bordered by both India and Myanmar. Due to which the total number of border districts of Bangladesh is 32.
