Section 15
If, on a transfer of property, an interest therein is created for the benefit of a class of persons with regard to some of whom such interest fails by reason of any of the rules contained in sections 13 and 14, such interest fails in regard to those persons only and not in regard to the whole class.
Illustration
A transfer his  property to B for life and then to B's Unborn children with a condition that a female child was to get only a life interest. B dies leaving three sons and one daughter. The interest of the daughter fails by reason of the rules contained in Section 13 but it does not fail in regard to the whole class, that is other three sons will take.

Amendment of 1929
Before the amendment It was the rule that class as a whole should take a class, as a whole shall fail. (Leak vs Robinson, 1817)  
Later in Raja Bajrang Bahadur Singh vs Thakurain  Bakhatraj kaur AIR 1953 S.C held that when an interest is created for the benefit of a class a person with regard to some of whom such interest fails on account of Sec. 14 then such interest fails  in regard to those person only and not in regard to the whole class.

Section 16
Where, by reason of any of the rules contained in sections 13 and 14, an interest created for the benefit of a person or of a class of persons fails in regard to such person or the whole of such class, any interest created in the same transaction and intended to take effect after or upon failure of such prior interest also fails.
Illustration
A transfer his property in trust for B and then to B's elder son on attaining the age of 30 years, and if B dies without son then to C as B and C were living at the date of execution of transfer. B died without child.
Property will not transfer to C as here the violation of Sec. 14 takes place where it is mention that transferor could postpone the transfer of ownership for unborn only upto minority not exceeding that.

Exception
 The restrictions contained in section 15 and 16 do not apply  where the Transfer of Property for the benefit of public and object beneficial to mankind .
