I have given myself a challenge of solving programming problems designed for Java using Python.

For this new series of videos I am going to make, I will tackle the exercises listed in the book of D.S. Malik entitled "Java Programming - From Problem Analysis to Program Design 5th Edition".

The videos in this series will show you how I solve programming exercises in D.S. Malik's book using Python. This series is intended for intermediate to advanced level Pythonista.

Now you may ask, why this book?

Well, a few years ago, I was teaching Java Programming in one of the international schools in Bangkok, Thailand and it happened that this is the book they were using. It's a great book and the exercises and programming problems in this book are really good for learning Java or any programming language. That's one reason.

The other reason is that I want to see for myself if I can actually solve these problems using another Python. That's the second reason.

And the third reason is to show you how easy and straightforward Python is as compared to Java as far as coding is concerned. And you'd be surprised with the result.

I will also show how Java differs from Python by re-coding some of the sample Java codes found in the book into Python codes.

The videos will offer limited explanations about the codes to keep each video short as much as possible in under 3 minutes. However, if there is a request for detailed explanation (RFX), I will try my best to explain as a reply to a comment, or create another video to explain in details.
