Taking Fireball K11918 out in Force 5 gusting Force 6 conditions really gets the heart pumping!

Originally built in 1978, she's come out of retirement for another generation of sailors to enjoy, and despite her age has certainly put our skills to the test.

This is a compilation of clips from a day's sailing, showcasing some upwind action and some big bearaways into a few flying broad reach runs. The video doesn't include any spinnaker runs as we only set full canvas during the big lulls, going low and slow to avoid overloading the rig and delicate hull. The best action was on other points of sail, putting multiple crew members to the test on the trap as we explored the Eastern section of Ullswater lake.
