Railfanning NJ Transit, MTA, and the Morristown & Erie Railway at Short Hills 8-27-24: horn shows!!!

Special guests visitors ‪@RailfanJalen‬ and ‪@MrRailfanner‬ visited Short Hills today!

This was a very action packed and very special day of railfanning!! There were so many awesome sightings that it honestly was a bit overwhelming. The first exciting sighting was EMD GP40PH-2 4101 DOT Department of Transportation "Bluebird." The second was truly incredible with MTA Metro-North Railroad GP40FH-2 4902 going to the Gladstone Branch! I also caught 4902 returning through Short Hills and I'm very glad I stayed for a while after because I managed to catch NJT EMD GP40PH-2 4111 and Morristown and Erie EMD GP15-1 24 pulling two Pullman Coaches! We also got several horn shows throughout the day!
