02:05 - binding off

17:18 - button band
26:04 - button holes


Sizes: S (M) L
In the video, I knit size M. For the other sizes, refer to the numbers included before and after it in the description box.

chest circumference: 96 (108) 124 cm [38 (42.5) 49"]
length: 48.5 (50) 53 cm [19 (19.6) 53"]

Gauge: 19 sts, 26 rows=10 cm [4"] stockinnette st, on 4.5 mm needles
Needles: 3.5 and 4.5 mm circular needles [80 or 100 cm]

Supplies:
Yarn: DK weight, I used "Alize superlana klasik", 75% acrylic 25%wool, colour 152, 280 mt,100gr. 3 skeins for sizes S and M, 4 skeins for size L.

markers, scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape, scrap yarn or extra cable to hold sts,  25mm buttons (x5)

Skills:
Long Tail Cast on, Regular Bind off, Knitting, Purling, Increasing, Decreasing, Picking up stitches, Cable casting on

Ribbing:
Change to 3.5 mm needles
Row 1: p3, k2, p2 to last 5 sts, k2, p3
Row 2: k3, p2, k2 to last 5 sts, p2, k3
Continue till ribbing measures approx. 6 cm [2.5”]
Bind off.

Sleeves:
Starting from the underarm pick up 64 (70) 84 sts. [32 (35) 42 sts from each side]
Place a marker for BOR.
rnd 1: k all sts
rnd 2 [decrease rnd]: k2tog, k to last 2 sts, ssk (62, 68, 82 sts)
rnd 3-8: k all sts
Continue knitting and at the same time decreasing every 8 (7) 6 rnd for 11 (12) 14 more times [12 (13) 15 times in total]. In the end, you should have 40 (44) 54 sts.
Change to 3.5 mm needles, k2, p2 until cuff measures 4 cm.
Bind off. Knit the 2nd sleeve the same way.

Button band:
pick up 238 (250) 266 sts as follows:
Left front: 105 (109) 116 sts, back: 28 (32) 34 sts, right front: 105 (109) 116 sts.
Before ribbing, CO 1 st at both ends of the button band (backward loop method), so that you have 240 (252) 268 sts

*Note:
1. On the straight edge of the left and right front (not the neckline edge), your picked-up sts are better to be around 64 sts
2. The FINAL number of your picked-up sts should be a multiply of 4]

Start ribbing as follows:
Row 1 [WS]: p3, k2, p2 to last 5 sts, k2, p3
Row 2 [RS] k3, p2, k2 to last 5 sts, p2, k3
Continue to row 8.
