One of the most popular dividend ETFs in the markets SCHD has just completed its annual reconstitution and the results are very shocking to say the least.
And for all of the SCHD fans out there, we urgently need to discuss this.

And for those who don't know a reconstitution refers to updating and adjusting the composition of an ETF.
And for schd, this is done on an annual basis.

Now I did cover the reconstitution last year, and the changes that were made then had a rather minor effect on the overall composition of SCHD. They primarily adjusted holdings that were held in tiny quantities.

but this year... Oh boy... the changes to the fund are very drastic.
