Madaling Araw - Dr. Francisco Santiago (arr. Jose Valdez ) Solo Classical Guitar

Transliterated as DAWN. As requested by Torou, I started studying this 5 days ago. This is a very interesting piece for me because I have not heard this one before. I had to listen to several song versions (including Sylvia dela Torre's) to even understand what the melody sounds like. The best ones are those sung by male vocalists. Appreciation for this song/piece came to me gradually and I still go back and listen to the voice renditions which I think remain unmatched by any instrumental-only attempt. Such is the challenge of the guitar. Valdez rated this a level VI and I have to agree that this is one tough nut from his "The Philippine Guitar" book. I took the liberty of revising some of the fingerings to make it easier for me to play.
