-Noah Brown - Named captain, left in the 1st quarter with a rib injury. He's played in only 17 of the last 20 possible games. This is EXACTLY why I called this out on Saturday.
-Jordan Magee - Named captain, played only 14 SNAPS after playing 50+ in recent games. What was the point? This sends the wrong message to players.

😤 DAN QUINN COACHED SCARED

This game was about saving coaches' jobs, not developing talent:

-Bobby Wagner: 100% of snaps
-Magee: 14 snaps, Kaho: 1 snap (special teams), Medrano: 0 snaps
-Sinnott got FEWER snaps than Bates (35 vs 42)
-McNichols got entire first series despite Bill being better
-Johnny Newton: Only 23 snaps after DQ talked about playing him more
-Tunsil tried playing through injury (just like Trey Amos vs Seattle)

-Best game and first TD since Week 5
-Physical, decisive, fast - still looks like RB1

-This was a MEANINGLESS win
-Tried to win with veterans instead of developing young players
-Stats were basically even across the board
-Not impressed - doesn't change anything
-We can criticize AP's draft picks, but if they aren't allowed to grow, who's really at fault?

Mike Sainristil - GREEN 🟢
-4th INT of the season!
-Showing flashes despite his faults
-Mikey + Amos + Caleb Downs in the secondary sounds like FUN

Jaylin Lane - GREEN 🟢
-2ND punt return TD of the season!
-5th player in Commanders history to do this
-First since Brian Mitchell in 1994
-Only the 2nd Washington rookie ever to accomplish this

Antonio Hamilton Sr. - GREEN 🟢
-2 pass deflections, multiple great reps
-56 snaps (barely played 20+ before)
-32 years old, probably won't get called again, but deserves praise

🎯 WHAT HAPPENED:

First Half:

-Defense started strong, ran the ball well
-Josh Conerly: 2 penalties, gave up strip-sack to Abdul Carter (not his fault - -Mariota sat too deep)
-Bill fumbled, Conerly recovered
-Jaylin Lane 63-yard punt return TD right before half
-Mikey Sainristil INT of Daniel Dart

Second Half:

-Felt like we were going to lose without Lane's TD
-Giants started asserting themselves
-Terry McLaurin TD - attacked vertically, got Dane Belton to flip hips wrong way
-Back-to-back fumbles almost cost us
-Dart couldn't convert late, game over

This win means NOTHING for the franchise's future. We're still 4-10 and just dropped in draft position.
