Summer is here and the crabs are running! One of our favorite summertime activities is to hit the water and do some crabbing for one of the Chesapeake Bays most famous delicacies, blue crabs. On todays trip, Brady and I take our kayaks down to the St. Mary's River to crab. We each had 15 collapsable traps and once they were set, the crabbing was phenomenal. There were multiple times we had two keepers in one trap and even a few times where there were three in one trap. We caught over a bushel in two hours and went back home to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Chesapeake Bay blue crabs are the best tasting blue crabs in the world!
