In this video, we'll learn how to tie Ian's brass *** fly pattern, a variation of the classic brassie fly known for its effectiveness in catching trout, grayling, and other freshwater fish. This fly pattern was created by fly tyer Ian Colin James and has become a popular variation of the original because of its slender shape and durability.

This pattern is excellent for beginners and can be made with only a few simple materials. If you don’t have UV resin, you can do without; however, id highly recommend picking some up. I’ve linked my favorite below.
