BHUJEL - Folk Songs & Dances

Bhujels are one of the indigenous communities of Darjeeling having their own distinct language, culture, religion and strong ethnic identity. Their language is called Puhgal Ngur. Music and dance are an integral part of Bhujel culture. Rhin, Tokyo Binayo, Murchunga are the musical instruments used by Bhujels as they perform Gah-tu dance, Chutku dance and Pangdurya dance.
