In this video a purple copper complex will be prepared from copper sulfate (CuSO4) and sodium dischlorioisocyanurate (NaDCCA). My guess would be that this chemical is either copper dichloroisocyanurate or sodium copper dichloroisocyanurate.

The preparation was pretty fun and the product looks even more purple in real life.
