Confused Joe Biden makes 'embarrassing' mistake during speech

US President Joe Biden has been mocked over social media after he appeared to be confused during a speech in New York.

Biden seemed to have lost his train of thought when speaking to West Point cadets graduating from the United States Military Academy and was giving the commencement address.

Sky News contributor Kristin Tate said “these gaffs happen so often now they hardly even make the news”.

“It’s just almost every day at least multiple times a week the president of the United States is having clear lapses in his mental abilities and it’s really embarrassing,” Ms Tate told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“It’s terrifying at this point but they're not even trying to hide it at this point anymore.”
