Biking to Wineries - Silverado Trail - Yountville & Napa - Vine Trail Loop

Описание к видео Biking to Wineries - Silverado Trail - Yountville & Napa - Vine Trail Loop

Biking in the Napa Valley from Yountville to Napa on the Silverado Trail is a must do virtual bike ride or in person bike ride for wine tastings and it connects to the Napa Valley vine trail. We point out the best wineries on the way and briefly describe the tasting experiences along with the mileage so you can plan your trip and make reservations at wineries.

Between 10am and 2pm is the best time to ride to avoid traffic so bear in mind that we filmed in the early evening so traffic is heavier than you might otherwise experience.

We travel through 3 Napa wine districts: Yountville, Stags Leap and Oak Knoll. We start at the Yountville Park traveling along Yountville Cross Road to Silverado Trail and take Oak Knoll Ave to the vine trail which can take you back to Yountville.

We show these wineries: (1) Cliff Lede, (2) Robert Sinskey, (3) Balducci, (4) Silverado, (5) Pine Ridge, (6) Odette, (7) Stag's Leap, (8) Regusci, (9) Chimney Rock, (10) Clos du Val, and (11) Trefethen.

You make it a loop ride by taking the Napa vine trail on the way back which has no cars - perfect after flight tastings!

I ride in the late afternoon but most people with a choice ride between 10 and 2. The traffic is lighter and weather better. Bear in mind the wind blows north so you will be heading into the wind as you go south most times. You could. reserve the route but having the vine trail at the end is perfect (IMHO).
