Starting YouTube in your late 30's, 40's and Beyond/ Why You Should Start a YouTube Channel in 2024

I was thinking about starting a channel way back in fall of 2017. Since then, I've been listening to hundreds, (maybe thousands by now?) people talk about why they've learned doing YT. It is currently 2024 and I finally started making actual videos. I wish that I had began the experiment earlier, because if I end of liking it, and I feel like I already do, then it would have been cool to have five years already in the bank? I realized that I would rather just try it out and see what it is really like making videos and who responds. The ultimate goal is to help other people with simple but scientific health content and also share the YouTube journey, because I am just starting out and these types of videos helped me see more of what its really like to do YT and that was, ultimately, encouraging.

This video was created for any of you out there who have also been thinking about diving in to YouTube. Even though it might seem like platform is too saturated, I don't think that it is for people in their 30's and 40's and up. People want to see and hear from others who they can relate to and people of this age bracket, all over the world, are watching YT now more than ever. That means that the supply has still not risen to meet the demand. From the content creators I have been watching on the topic of YouTube, it seems like if you treat it like a job, then you can bring in some income. It also is a bit like a Pandora's box. It see a lot of creators end up working and collaborating with people and brands that they never would have dreamed up. It seems to open up endless possibilities socially and as a business.
