In this episode we learn about Paul W. Klipsch’s original Klipschorn prototype, restored to working condition by the Klipsch Museum of Audio History. Curator Jim Hunter tells the story of PWK’s friendship with Sherman Fairchild, who sent him the plywood to finish the design. Jim also shows the recreation of PWK’s amplifier that he used to DJ the WWII victory dance at the Hope, AR airport – the debut of the Klipschorn prototype.
