Went sea fishing on the beach at Kingsdown near Deal in Kent over rough ground.
Fished the tide up in heavy rain showers with strong westerly winds blowing, got some protection from the winds as I was in the lee of the cliffs.
Tide was coming in with some weed in the water and strong current running along the beach.
Bait used was fresh common lugworm, mackerel and squid.
Kept it simple with a scratching rig on one rod and a pulley loop rig on the other rod with a big bait. Casting far with the wind was an issue so fished about 80 yards out.
