So, this is one of my new compilations in video, which goal is to feature a band from a specific musical genre, in order to include all the genres I know into a video. I'm not going to feature just the types of music that you are accustomed to listen in my other videos, as you can understand. It will imply some work on the choosing of the bands, selecting of some suggestive part of the song and search about the characteristics of the genre.
Each video will show you a certain amount of bands that are representative of the referred genre. Also, I'm not going to feature a band twice and some kind of music style such as "progressive melodic blackened post-punkish hip hop hard rock with djent and celtic folk influences", for the reasons you can perceive. Not to forget that not all the bands of a certain genre sound the same: they share characteristics that are on the samplers of this video. However, in cases of genres such as progressive, avant-garde, dark and power metal, for example, the characteristics from band to band do vary a lot.
First, I'll begin with heavy metal genres, because it is my favourite style of music. The following videos will have also a thematic faced to metal and it's adjacent genres.
