So tonight I had the chance to go to Beyond King Tut. It was very similar to the Beyond Van Gogh, that I went to earlier this year. I kept putting it off, waiting to see if they would extend the dates from the original closure date. Which they did. Then I waited to see if they extended it, into November. Which they did. The reason I waited until now to attend is because November 4th, which is the date that I attended the event, was the 101st anniversary of the discovery of the tomb. Just like for the Van Gogh Experience, where there were no pieces of actual art, there were no ancient artifacts at this experience. Which is ok with me, because I saw a King Tut Artifact Exhibit twice. Once near Miami (2007), and the other in Atlanta (2009). The King Tut Exhibit was actually the second Egyptian Pharaoh Exhibit I've seen. The first was back in the 80's, when I saw the Ramses II Exhibit here in Jacksonville. Beyond King Tut is currently extended until January 7th 2024.
