Moru Curry or Pulissery is Kerala Style Seasoned buttermilk which is served as a part of Onam Sadya. This south Indian Moru curry became more popular in other parts of India and now it has become a popular Indian dish in other parts of the world. The curry is a traditional dish of Kerala and also, it is one of the main dishes in Kerala Sadhya and hotel thali. The curry is prepared in different ways according to the ingredients used. It can be made with or without coconut. I will show you how to make this recipe very simple way so anybody can easily make this at home. It is a very good combination of rice, especially red rice.

Ingredients for Kerala Moru Curry (Pulissery)
Curd (Medium Katta)1 Kg
Cooking Oil 2 tablespoon
Mustard Seeds 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek Seeds 1 teaspoon
Ginger 15 g
Garlic(10 cloves) 15 g
Green Chilli 2 Nos
Shallots(5 cloves) or Onion(Small) 25 g
Dry Red Chilli 3 Nos
Curry Leaves 2 Nos
Turmeric Powder Half teaspoon
Salt to Taste
