In today's video, I'm reviewing the NEW Robinhood cashback rewards debit card and the checking account attached to Robinhood's investing platform. It makes it super easy to invest and pay for everyday expenses from the same account.

The thing I love about Robinhood's platform is the simplicity of it all. Super easy to manage your cash through the app and invest at the same time. There are four features specifically that I like about Robinhood's new checking account:

1. Roundup Investing
People just don't invest enough generally speaking. That's why roundup investing is a cool feature. This means that with every purchase, Robinhood will roundup your purchase to the nearest dollar. Then it will take the rounded up amount and invest it in a stock or fund of your choice. It's a great way of adding just a little bit more to your investments without hitting your budget too hard.

2. Cashback Rewards
Robinhoods cashback rewards is different than I've ever seen before! Basically with every round up investment, Robinhood will match the roundup at 10%-100% of the roundup's value. That means if you round up a purchase $0.50, your Robinhood cashback match could be $0.05 to $0.50, depending on the purchase. One thing to keep in mind is that Robinhood's cashback won't ever be more than $0.99 which is definitely less than the 1% some other debit cards will provide.

3. Paycheck Investing
If you set up direct deposit, you can get automatic investing straight from your paycheck. That makes it MUCH easier to prepare for retirement.

4. Money Transfer
Money transfer into the app is easy and fast. Within a day in my experience. Also, withdrawals are easy through the 90k ATMs available to the Robinhood account. Plus, it's easy to set up checks to be sent straight from Robinhood. It makes it much easier to pay someone without having to write out a check yourself.
