I picked up my new sled and went over the features and accessories I chose for this season with Calvin Felker, this video is our take on why I chose the Summit 600 and I hope it helps anyone who may be considering a Summit 600. At the end of the season, I will post some follow-up videos of the rides and how this season went on my 600 versus the 850 and 850 Turbo. I have been riding the last few seasons.

I chose the 95mm riser, soft glove box extension bag, and LinQ Snowflap, and I will add a skid plate and hand guards before breaking in my new sled.

The main reason for the change was that the 600R ETEC is a very capable sled, even in deep powder and steep terrain. The fuel and oil consumption are significantly less than an 850, and with current prices of gas and oil, this will make it possible to go on more rides for the same amount of money. Also, the Belt life is longer and less maintenance. This is the theory I am testing this winter and will post a follow-up video with the results.
