Badrinath Tour Guide

Badrinath Temple is a Hindu temple (shrine) dedicated to lord Vishnu. Located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Alakananda river, Badrinathnath is located in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open to the general public only between the months of April (Akshaya Tritiya) and November (Kartik Purnima, the autumn full moon). During the winters, the deity from Badrinath temple is carried down to Joshimath and where the deity is worshiped for the next six months.

⚫Best time to visit: May to October.

⚫How can go to Badrinath? The nearest rail head is Haridwar. One have to catch a train to reach Haridwar from there one can reach Badrinath bus stand (reserve charge for small car is *4500-6000 and for shared bus is ₹550-750).
