BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition - Based on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 | Only 25 Units Worldwide | Motor Continent
The BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition. An extraordinary trip back in time and the ultimate combination of innovation, sheer power as well as an unwavering love for detail. Based on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 platform, the BRABUS 750 is not just an homage, but a modern retelling of a story that defines BRABUS at its very roots. Production will be limited to only 25 units worldwide.
Elegance and functionality – two unique concepts of design that were as deeply rooted in Bodo Buschmann’s philosophy as the breathtaking feeling of pure high-performance. At the front, a range of BRABUS-typical carbon elements characterize the roadster's unmistakable face – including the BRABUS front fascia inserts, the BRABUS radiator grill and the BRABUS front spoiler, which, in addition to its unmistakable look, also significantly reduces lift at the front axles at high speeds. The luxury roadster’s next-level attention to detail is enhanced at the sides with carbon fiber front fender attachments, complete with integrated BRABUS logo. To give the rear end a sportier touch, the subtle carbon fiber rear spoiler attachment was integrated into the design in concert with the tailor-made carbon fiber rear diffuser – perfectly highlighting the quad tailpipes of the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system and impressing with its black and bold looks.
The BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition is the ultimate display of modern performance engineering. Equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine equipped with two BRABUS high-performance turbochargers, the two-door super-roadster sprints from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited at 315 km/h to protect the Continental SportContact 7 performance tires. 900 Nm of lightning-fast torque are unleashed instantly courtesy of its nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be shifted either automatically or manually via the paddle shifters at the steering wheel – all at the driver’s leisure.
Inspired by the iconic late eighties styling of the original BRABUS Monoblock II, the BRABUS 750 “Bodo Buschmann Edition” is equipped with 21- and 22-inch BRABUS Monoblock II Evo “Platinum Edition” forged wheels. Manufactured using high-tech forging technology and the latest in CNC machining, they provide an excellent combination of lightweight agility and maximum strength – characterized by an elegant “Shadow Chrome” polished finish. Just like for the BRABUS 7.3S, the three-spoke design unmistakably highlights the BRABUS calipers of the carbon-ceramic brake system. The supercar’s ride height can be adjusted by up to 25 millimeters courtesy of tailormade BRABUS sports springs, further perfecting both driving dynamics and handling through a lower center of gravity.
No color represents Bodo Buschmann and his personal taste in cars as black; And even after more than four decades, the shine of an all-black signature design remains an indispensable pillar of the BRABUS design DNA. That’s why there is only one color scheme dominating the interior of the BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition – black on black.
Handcrafted to impeccable perfection, our team of highly skilled specialists fitted the roadster with a complete BRABUS Masterpiece interior, defined by a particularly soft and breathable leather implemented throughout the entire cabin – reaching from the seats to the door panels, all the way to the footwells and the bespoke BRABUS floormats. Matching black stitching working in concert with black piping tastefully underscores the BRABUS “R-Sport” quilting pattern, one of Bodo Buschmann’s favorite designs. For an additional touch of heritage, the BRABUS “Heritage” brand pattern featuring embossed “77” signets was applied to several sections of the cockpit, including the seat side bolsters, the sides of the center console, and the sun visors to commemorate the year 1977, when BRABUS was founded.
As a complement to the signature black leather, a selection of high-gloss carbon fiber elements was integrated into sections of the center console, the door panels and the steering wheel.
