Here is the Self Titled copy of `Dragonfly` a seriously Heavy US Psych album released on the very obscure US Megaphone Label in 1968 (MS-1202), it came in a gatefold sleeve, the bands name was actually The Legend but due to internal management issues the bands name was never added to the release. A sealed top copy sold in 2022 for £459. Though it has been reissued these original 1968 copies are the ones to find and any decent copy should fetch a couple of hundred pounds

One of the bands own managers saw them at Family Dog in Denver, on a big stage, with psychedelic lights, and lots of kids going nuts. He was astounded at how the audience was into the band. After the show, he asked the band why they hadn't told him they could write and play like that. They of course said they had tried to explain it to them but they just didn't get it. So the manager goes back to LA and tells his partner they need to let the band do an original album (the first Legend album was mainly session musicians). When they got back to LA, they started recording what would become the Dragonfly album. In the meantime, the keyboardist had left the band and Dragonfly was done basically as two-guitars, bass and drums album. The managers also hired a producer by the name of Richard Russell (real name Richard Egizi) and the band cut the album at Amigo in I.D. Studios in north Hollywood with Hank Cicalo engineering. Strangely they made it an album, with no band member names listed and no pictures.
