Our third gig as 'branded' (ex-Dirty Truth)
An Evening of Rhythm & Blues at The Acoustic Lounge Poynton.
We had to change the band name because Ken (bass) left the band and the Dirty Truth was his band, and wanted to keep the name.
John (drums) also left because we had too many gigs.
So, with Terry (keys), Steve (guitar) and myself (Chris) (half of the Dirty Truth) we managed to get Arthur Cowdrey (bass), and Pete Sarge Frampton (guitar), to honour our booked gig.
John (drums) came back for this one because he likes playing here.
Thanks to Natalie and the bar staff for looking after us.
We had a great crowd in tonight.
Thanks to Angela, Lesley, Janette, Pat, Patricia, and Julie who couldn't stop herself dancing even after a recent knee operation.
Also quite a few people who saw us here last time.

Most of the songs we play were played by many British bands of the 60s like the Rolling Stones, Manfred Mann, the Kinks, the Pretty Things, the Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, the Animals etc, even the Beatles and Elvis Presley played rhythm & blues.
