Prize-Winning Peanut Butter Cookies

This recipe won me first place at our Fall Fair! I'm happy to share this old-fashioned peanut butter cookie recipe:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or maragarine
I egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup peanut butter (smooth)
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
