Hi, I'm Nancy Schappell with KBT Realty. We're here today in Brunswick Forest, which is where I live.



This is a master plan community in Brunswick County. It is a community of right now, 4000 homes, going to be somewhere between seven and 8000 homes, but it feels small. We have all kinds of small neighborhoods that have their own HOA, that have their small streets with walking sidewalks, ponds.


Here's what's great about Brunswick Forest.


There are homes that are townhomes, cottages, single family, all the way up to million dollar homes... from $300,000 to million dollar plus homes. So there's something for everyone. Whether you're downsizing or wanting to build your dream home, you can do it here in Brunswick Forest.


It's not a retirement community. It's not a 55 plus. It is a community that is diverse with people that still work, people that are retired, people that have come from the north looking for a warmer climate with blue skies and bright sunshine and things for them to do. It is a super active community.
We have a great "Top of the Forest" is what we call it, where we have a grocery store, several restaurants, dentists, orthopedic surgeons, place to get your nails done, place to eat breakfast, you name it, we have it and it's growing.


Brunswick Forest is ideally located. We're really at the northernmost part of the county and it really takes about 15 minutes to get to Wilmington. So if you're going to work downtown in downtown Wilmington, 15 minutes, 20 minutes to Wrightsville Beach, 20 minutes to Wilmington International, which is ILM, or if you want to take the hour drive down to Myrtle Beach, you can access the Myrtle Beach Airport as well. Super cheap.


So Brunswick Forest has a golf course called Cape Fear National. It is a top 100 golf course to play according to Golf Digest. Beautiful course, challenging, lots of water, but a fun course. And if golf is not your thing, we have a kayak launch at Town Creek that you can put a kayak in and kayak the Town Creek. If that's not your thing, you can walk, you can play tennis, pickleball, three gyms with three outdoor pools, one indoor pool. So we do have classes in the community center, which is the Wellness Center, which is kind of right behind us here. And you can take yoga, spin class, TRX, any kind of water activity. You can play mahjongg and you can play bridge and you can play Bunko, which I just learned how to play. Which is a fun game.


Also, if those aren't your things, you can just have little groups that come up, like my husband is a Penn Stater. So there is a Penn State club, there's a mahjongg club, there is a golf club, there's a cycling club. You can cycle inside Brunswick Forest, never leave and do 50 miles. It is a really safe place to cycle. It is well lit. It is tons of sidewalks or paths that you can navigate and enjoy nature.
