The Grundfos 3” SQE submersible can handle a wide voltage range (150v to 280v), with little effect on pump performance. If incoming voltage drops below or exceeds the suitable range, a built-in protection feature shuts the pump down, safeguarding the motor. When an acceptable voltage level returns, the pump will automatically restart.

Most conventional 4” pumps can only operate between 207V and 244V and require external motor protection.
