Описание к видео DOES DORSIFLEXING THE ANKLE PROTECT THE KNEE IN PIGEON POSE? Yoga Anatomy Lesson

The theory goes that dorsiflexion of the ankle joint will activate muscles that provide stability to the knee joint and prevent injury to the knee in pigeon pose in yoga. This video explores the anatomy of the knee joint and ankle muscles as it pertains to pigeon pose and yoga anatomy. Let's explore this common yoga cue to see if it is good advice, or outdated yoga alignment and anatomy dogma. Does it really protect against knee injuries like meniscus tears, and ACL tears?
