Railroad Crossing Compilation - Lower Silesian Railways!

Hello, everyone! This time I invite you to a railroad Crossing compilation of trains KOLEJE DONLOŚLĄSKIE (Lower Silesian Railways). Here we have a list of the Lower Silesian carrier's full rolling stock, from PESA SA135 or SA135 vehicles, EN57AL to the entire Impuls range and ending with Elf 2 48WEc.

Koleje Dolnośląskie is the rail carrier of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Koleje Dolnośląskie was established at the end of 2007 and a year later, on December 14, 2024, the first trains began regular services on railway lines 137 and 286 on the Legnica - Kłodzko - Międzylesie route. The company's inaugural train set off from Kłodzko Główne station towards Legnica at 4:18.

The following years were a period of taking over subsequent sections of railway lines and launching new connections. On January 5, 2009, Koleje Dolnośląskie reactivated the Kłodzko - Wałbrzych connection. On September 20, 2009, Koleje Dolnośląskie reactivated the renovated line from Wrocław Psie Pole to Trzebnica.

In 2010, Koleje Dolnośląskie carried 675,000 passengers, which is twice as many as in 2009.

On July 2, 2010, the first cross-border ride of Koleje Dolnośląskie took place on the Szklarska Poręba Górna - Kořenov (Czech Republic) route.

In 2011-2012, KD reactivated the direct Żary - Żagań - Wrocław connection, extending the Żary - Żagań - Legnica connection. The opening of new directions resulted in an increase in passengers and by the end of 2012, the company had already carried 1.8 million of them.

In 2013, the company received 5 units of the 31WE Impuls train. It is worth adding that in February of the same year, a vehicle of the Nowy Sącz Newag set a speed record (for Polish-made trains) during tests, reaching a speed of 211.6 km/h.

In the following years, Koleje Dolnośląskie systematically increased its rolling stock. Currently, the company has over 80, mostly very modern vehicles carrying passengers at speeds of up to 160 km/h. Koleje Dolnośląskie also has 5 hybrid Impuls II 36WEh units.

Currently, Koleje Dolnośląskie operates 26 regular connections, including two seasonal ones: Wrocław Główny - Świnoujście and Wrocław Główny - Berlin-Lichtenberg.

In 2023, the carrier carried 19 million passengers and traveled 11.6 million km, which was the best result in the fifteen-year history of Koleje Dolnośląskie. During this time, KD carried 100 million passengers.
