404s of the World: Erie Lackawanna 404

In this episode of 404s of the World, we will be discussing an early model of switchers from EMD rostered by the Erie, the Erie Lackawanna, and then Conrail. Even though this 404 isn't too notable, it's still one of many engines from a successful engine class that revolutionized the shunting yards. This spinoff series of Remarkable Engines covers the history of an engine numbered 404, out of tribute for a LIRR DE30AC of the same number, as the number itself has often been used symbolically on the channel.
