Ukraine puts things into perspective after Russia starts his invasion.

There’s a lot of propaganda flying around about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. But there’s one thing we can definitively say: there is no justification for Russia’s invasion. The idea that Russia, with the massive military and nuclear arsenal that it has, needs to protect itself from Ukraine, is ridiculous. Barring the most extreme circumstances (which are not anywhere close to being demonstrated in Ukraine), no nation has the right to invade another. War rarely ends up being liberatory in such situations of power asymmetry as we have between Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine is a sovereign nation, with its own history. The people of Ukraine have made decisions, on multiple occasions in the past 30 years, to NOT be part of Russia. This should be respected. Russia has all the power in this situation, and therefore, all the power to stop the horrors that will ensue.
