Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his concerns about a US-Iran deal, saying it must make sure that all enriched material leaves Iran, including the "equipment and the infrastructure that allows you to enrich in the first place".

Speaking at a conference in Jerusalem, Netanyahu also reiterated that any deal must address Iran's ballistic missiles and "dismantle" its support for armed proxies in the region.

Iranian state media reported that foreign minister Abbas Araghchi is travelling to Geneva, where the second round of nuclear negotiations with the US will take place.

Similar talks last year broke down after Israel launched what became a 12-day war on Iran, which included the US bombing Iranian nuclear sites.
