Cash worth more than Rs 200 crore was recovered from several locations linked to Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu in Odisha and Jharkhand on Friday, according to sources. The Income Tax Department had been conducting raids on Sahu's premises in the neighbouring states since Wednesday (December 6). The raids were still on at the time of writing this report. According to sources, raids were conducted on premises linked to Boudh Distillery Private Limited in Odisha from where most of the cash was recovered.
Other locations raided were in Sambalpur, Bolangir, Titilagarh, Boudh, Sundargarh, Rourkela, and Bhubaneswar.
