🇲🇽ISLA HOLBOX - MEXICO - If you're planning a Mexico trip in 2018 and are heading to Quintana Roo or Yucatan, you may decide on taking a trip to Isla Holbox, an island just a few hours journey by bus and boat from Valladolid or Cancun.

But you may be about to type into Youtube 'How to get to Isla Holbox'? And what do you do once you're there in terms of accommodation, ATMs and more? In this video I talk you through some Isla Holbox Basics, ie everything you need to know for your Isla Holbox trip!

Isla Holbox is a great location for solo travellers, couples and families with many thuings to do including swimming with whale sharks. One watch out is mosquitos, take bug spray! And the flooding of the roads can be frustrating! But overall I had a great few days there soaking up the sun after 3 months in Mexico.
