A bigger body does not mean someone is lazy.

I have heard quite a few people say the same thing to me, that others look at their body size and assume laziness. And that really stays with me.

The truth is, our bodies are not simple equations. Sometimes, it can be medical conditions. I have even met people who told me their body gained weight even when they were eating very little, sometimes just drinking water. That shows how complex our bodies really are and why we should not judge so quickly.

But here is the thing. Psychologically, we humans crave certainty. That is why we label things. It feels easier and safer when we can put people into categories. But when we label too quickly, we lose the chance to really understand each other, and we miss the chance to learn from one another.
