On Saturday evening, police were dispatched to a residence in Twin City, where they discovered 27-year-old Zaria Ross deleted inside their home.

Newly obtained security camera footage from Singh Food Mart, located at the corner of Highway 80 and 5th Avenue, across the street from the couple's home, captured a dark-colored Dodge Challenger leaving the house at 9:27 p.m., just minutes before authorities arrived at 9:30 p.m.

It's unconfirmed whether this was the same vehicle as a 2021 Dodge Challenger that belongs to Zaria’s husband, 36-year-old Shamarcus Ross.

However, nearly an hour and a half after the timestamp on the footage, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office located Shamarcus and his vehicle over 60 miles away.

According to WCSO, Shamarcus died by self deletion. The GBI added that he deleted himself in his car as authorities attempted to pull him over. He later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Both Zaria and Shamarcus were residents of Twin City.

The GBI is continuing its investigation into Zaria’s passing, as her deleter remains unknown. An autopsy is being conducted by the GBI Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of her passing.
