Ingredients :

Orange Jam :

1 cup orange juice
( 7 to 8 oranges )

3/4 th cup sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp orange zest

Strawberry Jam:

150 grms Strawberry
125 grms sugar
2 tsp lemon juice

Both with give 100 grms Jam approx.

The world's most commonly used artificial sweetener, sucralose is a chlorinated sugar that is about 600 times sweeter than sugar.


2 Natural Sweeteners That Are Good for Your Health
Stevia. Stevia is a very popular low calorie sweetener.
Erythritol. Erythritol is another low calorie sweetener .

Although generally recognized as safe, stevia may cause adverse effects in some people. For example, one review noted that zero-calorie sweeteners like stevia could interfere with concentrations of beneficial gut bacteria, which play a central role in disease prevention, digestion, and immunity,

Erythritol side effects typically include digestive problems and diarrhea

Sugar is made in the leaves of the sugarcane plant through photosynthesis and stored as a sweet juice in sugarcane stalks. Sugarcane is cut down and harvested then sent to a factory. At the factory, cane juice is extracted, purified, filtered and crystalized into golden, raw sugar.

Refined sugar comes from sugar cane or sugar beets, which are processed to extract the sugar.
I choose to avoid refined white sugar as often as possible. My issues aren’t with the sugar industry and refinement process as a whole, but with the final two steps of carbonatation and decolorization.

Aside from the dubious (and unnecessary) use of bone char and calcium hydroxide, excess consumption of refined sugar also causes innumerable health problems, including weight gain, heart disease, acne, diabetes, and possibly cancer.

The adults should consume no more than 30 grams
( 7.17 tsp ) of added sugars per day and children no more than 24 grams.

What's important is having sugar in moderation anytime better than sweeteners that fiddle with her our hormones and slow down metabolism in the long run.
