Former gutarist and singer of UK punk outfit Buzzcocks, Pete Shelley embarked on a rather successful solo carreer in the early 80s, perhaps best known for his worldwide hit "Homosapien" from 1981. "Waiting For Love" was the second single taken from his fourth album "Heaven & The Sea". This is the extended 12" version of the song. The track was produced by Stephen Hague and released in the UK by Mercury (MERX 215) in 1986. Pete Shelley sadly passed away in December 2018.
