Most common starter gifts are first 2 of Rupture category for high speed and damage to act first before mobs. IDs with 2 or more Slash skills can go for 1 and 3 of Slash category instead. Burn IDs can go 3 and either 1 or 2 of Burn category.

Clear Water and Poise gifts are most recommended to further damage output and end a fight fast. Melted Eyeballs and Downpour is a solid combo to passively reduce enemies offense and defense by 10, or -3 clash power in a sense. Imposed Weight is an excellent option for 00 or 000 IDs that lack high clash power.

This floor is not too hard for Meursault due to his resistance to Pierce, although care should still be taken before with trying to grab some survival gifts because the Pequod enemies still deal a lot of damage and Meursault doesnt have as high HP as his other tankier IDs.

Ahab is quite easy for any ID that can evade or if no evade, withstand turn 2 after she could stagger the Sinner on turn 1. After that, it is a simple battle especially if having some healing.
