Welcome to Minecraft Dusk and Dawn.

[Captains Log]
Our home world was a boring desert world, and after years of nothing to do, we decided it's time to head out for an adventure.

Eddie, our llama launch expert joined us while in orbit, and we then departed for a far off world.

During the flight someone turned the spaceships shield off, because the humming sound was keeping him awake, but, we then entered an asteroid belt. The ship was able to take a few small hits, but then things went from bad to worse.

Suddenly, there was an energy drain, the engines went offline, life support went offline, and next, the kettle went offline! Now I was sure we were doomed.

Then the spaceship was pulled toward a nearby planet, as if a mystical force was pulling us to safety, but, what about the heat shield, what about landing without power, we were catastrophically doomed now?

At this point our llama expert had an idea. If we placed the kettle on the outside of the spaceship, the re-entry heat would boil it! We could possibly be saved!

The ship fell towards the ground like a flying brick, and, at the last moment, the cockpit slowed to a survivable speed, as if someone had extended a hand and caught us. The rest of the ship exploded around us, and we survived, but at what cost?

The kettle did not survive. We are surely doomed to live a life of despondency in this hell world, without a functioning kettle.

I have not had the heart to tell the crew. We each decided to go our own way, in search for survival. May they find a kettle of their own, before they realise ours is broken, and despair sets in.

If you are reading this log, either you have found the remains of our spaceship, or we found a kettle and survived.

Minecraft is a voxel sandbox first person survival game. You start in a world where everything is made of cubes, and you need to mine materials, and craft tools in order to survive the nights.
Night time is when the hostile mobs (enemies) will spawn, and you either need to have a shelter to hide in, or have weapons and armour to fight.

Minecraft consists of 3 worlds, there's the starting world we know of as "The Overworld"
There's also the Minecraft hell, known as "The Nether" full of hostile things, there is no day/night cycle, and the floor is lava, so you have to move across the raised land.

Finally there is the Minecraft end goal, known as "The End"
The End is a world of floating islands, but the islands are floating in nothingness, if you fall off, you will die.

The end has only 3 mob types,

The Endermen, a peaceful mod ... unless you look at them, they really don't like you looking at them.

The Shulker, a hostile mob, but it's attacks won't kill you. They just make you float into the air, and then drop you ... it's the sudden stop at the floor that kills you.

and there's the big boss of the Minecraft game. The Ender Dragon. It a dragon that lives in The End, it flies, it shoots fire balls at you, and it's the big boss.


Minecraft also has a huge modding community, so once you finish the game (or like me never do) there are so many fun and interesting mods out there.
