ISHR was pleased to interview Mphatso Sakala, who participated in our last Human Rights Defenders Advocacy Programme in 2019.

Mphatso advocates for the protection of human rights of intersex people, focusing on intersex health and well-being. He has helped to increase the visibility of intersex health issues with policy makers and health care providers. Mphatso also develops media and communications strategies, and designs and produces communications, publications and visual materials.
