Our tongue is a fascinating external organ that tells us so much about our internal organs. In many eastern healing sciences and ancient medicine practices such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, the tongue reveals specific health imbalances and possible conditions and tells us so much about our state of health just from examining it ourselves.

Different parts of the tongue correlate to different organs in our body. When there is a sensitivity, abnormality or discoloration in that area, it could be a possible indication of an imbalance in the related organ.

The tongue color and coating also shares a lot. If you wake up with a thick coat on your tongue, that is an indication of toxins in your body. There are so many signals our body reveals to us and in this video I share the Ayurvedic perspective on what our tongue tells us about our health.
