Мама, Іванка Крип’якевич-Димид співає останню колискову своєму синові Артемові, який загинув 18 червня 2022 року на війні у бою з російським окупантом.

Артемові було лише 27 років….

18 червня за свободу України, за нашу з вами гідність, за єдність Європи, за мир у світі віддав своє життя Воїн Артемій Димид. Син отця Михайла Димида, першого ректора Львівської богословської академії (тепер УКУ), і відомої, глибокої іконописиці Іванки Димид-Крип’якевич. Онук шахтаря Дмитра і Розалії Димидів і провідних представників галицької інтелігенції Романа і Лесі Крип’якевичів. Правнук двох великих українців – історика Івана Крип’якевича та підпільного священника, ісповідника віри Артемія Цегельського. Артемій і разом з ним за цей день сотні українців віддали своє життя за Україну, за тебе, за мене, за правду у всьому світі.

За ініціативи сім’ї загиблого воїна Артема Димида, Український католицький університет започатковує стипендійний фонд імені Артема Димида. Стипендію в університеті надаватимуть пластунам, які вступатимуть на бакалаврські та магістерські програми УКУ. Фонд створено у співпраці з національною скаутською організацією «Пласт» та брендом українського одягу «Авіація Галичини».

Artemiy is the son of Father Mykhailo Dymyd, the first rector of the Lviv Theological Academy (now UCU), chaplain of the Maidan, professor of the UCU, and Ivanka Krypyakevych-Dymyd, a famous icon painter. Great-grandson of the historian Ivan Krypiakevych and of the priest and violinist Artemiy Tsehelsky, who spent seven years in exile in Siberia.

Artem is a graduate of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Faculty of Humanities, History Program. A member of Plast, pseudo “Kurka”. An active participant in the Revolution of Dignity, he served in the special battalion “Harpoon” and the battalion “Azov”. He was also part of the “Aviatsia Halychyny” team, in particular he was working on the development of the Ukrainian clothing brand.

At the initiative of the family of the fallen soldier Artem Dymyd, the Ukrainian Catholic University is launching a scholarship fund named after Artem Dymyd. The scholarship will be provided to Plast members who will enter UCU’s bachelor’s and master’s programs. The fund was established in cooperation with the national scout organization Plast and the Ukrainian clothing brand Aviatsia Halychyny.
