This is my recording of Mad Rush by Philip Glass, performed on the organ. While this is a shortened arrangement of the original work, I invite you to get comfortable, quiet your surroundings, and allow the music to become a space for prayerful listening and reflection.

For me, this piece revealed itself most fully after the recording was complete—when I could simply listen, free from urgency, and let the music guide my thoughts inward. There are moments of a wild rush, where the sound surges forward with urgency and intensity, only to return again to stillness and calm. That movement—from rest, to turbulence, and back to quiet—feels deeply spiritual, mirroring the rhythm of prayer, breath, and the inner life.

My hope is that this performance offers you a moment of peace and grounding—an opportunity to pause, breathe, and be present. Whether you approach this as meditation, prayer, or quiet reflection, may the music meet you where you are and offer rest to your spirit.
